League Observer Corps

League of Women Voters Observers attend the proceedings of governmental bodies at the local, state and national levels. Observers are instructed to sit quietly, remain neutral and not in any manner influence ongoing events. They assess whether the committees operate efficiently, are transparent in their decision making and open for public comment.
No other organization has the equivalent of the League's Observer Corps. These volunteers aren't just the "eyes and ears" of the League, but are a presence for all citizens interested in good public policy and good government.
