Wednesday, February 15, 2012	6-8PM	Encinitas Public Library 540 Cornish Drive Encinitas, CA 92024 Community Room	A presentation by Dr. Nigella Hillgarth of Birch Aquarium. Mark your calendar now so you don't miss this enlightening event. LWVNCSD and Friends of the Encinitas Library will host Dr. Nigella Hillgarth, Executive Director of Birch Aquarium. Dr. Hillgarth will discuss recent Scripps Institution of Oceanography research on climate change, ocean pollution, and other current and important ocean-related work now being carried out at SIO. Monday, February 20, 2012	1:15 PM	D'vora Gittleson's Home	Book Group. Naomi Marblestone will lead the discussion of "True Notebooks" by Mark Salzman. Please call D'vora to RSVP.
Friday, February 24, 2012	1:30PM	The home of Carol Grimes-Gartland	Education Issues Group. We will focus on: preschool facilities, curriculum and related issues. A February field trip is being planned. Contact Carol Grimes-Gartland for meeting address and information. All members are welcome.
